Recently, with the successful demoulding of the 10T electroslag ingot, it was announced that the 3T, 5T and 10T protective atmosphere electroslag furnaces independently developed by Xinlanhai had succeeded in one-time hot tests on November 16, 19 and 20, respectively. This successful hot test is inseparable from Xinlanhai's newly upgraded electroslag furnace software V2.0. From start-up to normal smelting and then to feeding, while realizing full computer control of the entire electroslag smelting process, it further improves the efficiency of smelting control. Accuracy ensures the reproducibility of the process, effectively avoids the interference and influence of human factors on the quality of electroslag ingots, and ensures the high standard of smelting products.
 

In recent years, with the rapid development of my country's science and technology and the continuous enhancement of comprehensive national strength, many important fields such as aerospace, marine vessels, petrochemicals, power station construction, nuclear facilities, etc., require high-quality products with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and high strength. The demand for electroslag ingots continues to increase, and at the same time, the "body" of electroslag ingots is gradually changing from small to large. However, high-quality large steel ingots must contain less impurity elements; low gas and inclusion content; and uniform chemical composition. However, in fact, the larger the steel ingot, the greater the voltage drop caused by the inductive reactance, and the long melting time, it is easy to produce defects such as shrinkage cavities, shunt holes, porosity, segregation, slag inclusions, cracks, and pores, resulting in large electroslag ingots. The yield is low.
 

Large-scale electroslag ingots for major equipment manufacturing are still the bottleneck of major equipment manufacturing. At present, domestic large-scale electroslag ingots are mainly produced by foreign electroslag furnaces. In order to break the foreign monopoly, Xinlanhai has been deeply involved in the special smelting industry for many years. Its self-developed The large-scale protective atmosphere electroslag furnace adopts an inert gas smelting system, which not only prevents the hydrogenation of the electroslag ingot and the oxidation of the metal electrode and slag pool by the atmosphere during the remelting process, but also ensures the uniformity of the metal composition and the low burning of easily oxidized metals. At the same time, the full coaxial conductive system is used, the power loss is small, the magnetic field interference is avoided, and it has a good power-saving effect; and the constant melting rate design keeps the melting rate at a constant set value ;Adopt high-precision X-Y electrode centering system to effectively avoid arcing between metal electrodes and mold, and even breakdown of mold.
